Shuffle Go Variant

I thought of this shuffle chess equivalent for Go (the game). This variant should improve the uniqueness of each game, and reduce play made from memorization.

The board is divided into two halves. If there are intersections that are part of both halves, those intersections will be ignored. Randomly place however many black stones on one of those halves. In the other half, mirror the position on the first half with white stones. Then, play the game normally from this position. The board should obviously be mostly empty at the start of the game.
