13 SS5.org Subscribers

(I'm making this post largely based on how I recently made this LinkedIn post celebrating my 1,018 LinkedIn followers.)

As of right now (5/4/25), SS5.org has 13 subscribers. I'd like to thank each of you. If you didn't subscribe, that would be 12 instead.

If just one of you didn't subscribe, I would be typing down a lesser number right now and my subscriber count would forever be one less.

Who knows how that might compound based on the butterfly effect. You might have prevented a tornado 20 years from now by causing my fingers to disturb the air in a slightly different way which caused someone to not experience property damage which might have caused them to not be an alcoholic parent to their child which might have caused that child to not eventually be an angry politician that caused another World War. You may have also inadvertently caused that tornado to happen, but get your friend to subscribe to SS5.org and maybe you'll undo that haha.

Even if SS5.org had 1,000,001 subscribers, I still wouldn't round and would commemorate the exact number. Most people would round the number being commemorated, but I'm not most people. If I make a future post commemorating the number of SS5.org subscribers or subscribers/followers outside of SS5.org, I'll always plan to commemorate the exact number. Otherwise, I'd be neglecting the individual. It annoys me how big influencers don't do that. I know it's weird.
