On 2025-11-01, I was using my Reddit account (u/BronzePencil) to make a post on my subreddit r/LameBronzePencilPosts, and suddenly every subreddit I created was removed, u/BronzePencil was removed, and every post comment or other piece of content I ever made from this account was removed. I was only copying content about Omnilow I posted on my website (such as SS5.org/Omnilow) to Reddit because I wanted people on Reddit to be able to learn about Omnilow (an algorithmic language).
Reddit used to be good, but it's now very prone to wrongful automated removals. I'd highly recommend either not using Reddit for anything important or having a backup of any important content you put on it.
There was zero activity in any of those subreddits up to that point for over a month (except in r/LameBronzePencilPosts). Nothing from any of those subreddits ever violated any of Reddit's rules, and there was never a single piece of even slightly controversial content.
I never got any response from a human at Reddit. I also never even got a notification or anything about it.
r/CentariChess is a subreddit about Centari Chess, a chess variant. Many hours of work went into that subreddit and many different people posted and commented in the subreddit.
If you might be able to help me at least get a response from a human at Reddit, please contact me. I'd be happy to reimburse you for your effort.
