My first step would be to do research. One of my biggest focuses would be on proving that I legitimately won the lottery. At least in Colorado, lotteries don’t properly utilize technology. There are some exceptions, but most anytime paper is involved (and there isn’t an option for a digital copy), it’s probably an outdated system. I shouldn’t have to worry about some paper slip proving I won, but alas, I think I would and would need to treat that slip of paper like it’s the Mona Lisa until I use it to prove I won.
