Here is a movie idea of mine that I wrote. It’s a dark comedic adventure movie about the fastest like world domination speedrun in our universe where our universe is a video game. It is a fiction movie that pretends to be an entertaining documentary. The movie’s title is Git Gud World Domination Any%. This is like a finished rough draft.
Some green aliens are in a computerized universe that was created for a video game. These green aliens created a computerized universe for a video game. These green aliens are physiologically very similar to humans. They are only different in their skin color in terms of appearance. In this computerized universe of theirs, there are pink aliens. Those pink aliens are physiologically very different from those green aliens. Those pink aliens look like gross octopi that look like stereotypical Hollywood aliens besides being pink. Those pink aliens created a computerized universe for a video game. In this computerized universe of theirs, there are green aliens. By chance, those green aliens are basically biologically identical to those other green aliens. All of these green aliens would be classified as the same species. These green aliens in this computerized universe created a computerized universe for a video game. This computerized universe of theirs is our universe. That video game that our universe was created for is called Humanity. The player in Humanity chooses what moment in our universe’s time they start their playthrough. That player chooses what human to play as in that playthrough. That player could also and instead choose to have their entire playthrough in spectator mode. A playthrough that’s only in spectator mode would be our exact reality that we live in. That player can choose any human that existed at or after 30,000 BCE, that is alive, and that is at least two years old at that time that is selected by that player. There might be rare cases where a human is unplayable because of severe brain dysfunction. This is based on standard history without the involvement of a player, however that player could also choose a human from a saved playthrough that that player has. This would create a separate playthrough and would not affect that saved playthrough. That player can choose to have spectator mode disabled in a playthrough for added difficulty/realism. When that player starts their playthrough, they immediately gain full control over the conscious mind of that human that they selected. While the player plays as a human, they will have full control over that human’s conscious mind and their in-game senses will come from that conscious mind. That human will have no ability to control their conscious mind while the player is playing as them. Time passes in Humanity relative to the passing of time according to that human’s conscious mind. That player can pause time at any point. When time is paused, that player can choose to go into spectator mode or go into Humanity’s pause menu. Spectator mode assumes that the player will skip an unlimited amount of time after that paused point in time. That player can speed up the passing rate of time by any multiplier that that player chooses and can skip any valid amount of time that that player chooses including an unlimited amount of time and/or a negative amount of time. When a positive amount of time is skipped, the human that that player was controlling regains control of themselves. That human doesn’t remember anything during when that player was controlling them. When a negative amount of time is skipped, that player goes back in their playthrough by that much time. Because a negative amount of time can be skipped, using a new save slot for a playthrough is rarely necessary. When in spectator mode, that player can change the point in time that they’re currently playing in. In other words, that player can do a time skip in spectator mode and get out of spectator mode. In spectator mode, that player can’t affect our universe’s reality but has a variety of tools for spectating their playthrough. This includes sensing what any playable human is sensing, viewing statistics and information for any playable human, viewing statistics and information for humanity, viewing statistics and information for Earth, going forwards and backwards through time at any rate, sensing this playthrough at any valid point in space with the ability to move around, immediately going to any valid point in time, and other things. For example, a graph of the past, current, and future total human population on Earth and the periods of time (if any) that Humanity’s AI would consider a playable human to have complete dictatorial control over all human civilization on Earth can be seen in spectator mode (which will be relevant later). For other examples, a graph of past, current, and future stock prices and what a playable human’s thoughts are can be seen in spectator mode. Lots of information can be gathered in spectator mode. Humanity’s AI is obviously far more advanced than our AIs. Spectator mode makes in-game research much easier. A playthrough can be saved at any time in that playthrough. There are basically an unlimited number of save slots in this game. At any moment, the player can load any saved playthrough for playing. There are no bugs/glitches in vanilla Humanity. When a player dies in Humanity, they go into spectator mode for the rest of this playthrough even if spectator mode was chosen to be disabled. To play this game, the player must link their brain to the computer that Humanity will be played on. This is easily done wirelessly through a Bluetooth connection in Git’s civilization. Bluetooth connection is controlled mentally by that player’s brain. While the player in Humanity is controlling a human, that player’s actual conscious mind is not able to consciously use their own body. That player can control various individual aspects of that Bluetooth connection. For example, that player could partially control the human they are controlling and partially control themselves in real life. This is similar to how someone might remove a VR headset while still using a VR controller. Bluetooth in Git’s civilization is much more advanced than in our universe. Technology in Git’s civilization is advanced enough that average home PCs are easily able to download, install, and run Humanity. These PCs can run Humanity without any lag, although some heavy information gathering requests in spectator mode might take some time to process. Although the technology in many other areas of technology might be about equal to our modern-day technology for humor/entertainment. Single-player Humanity is a highly developed game that has very sufficient features and that doesn’t have a significant need for additional updates. The vanilla computerized universe in Humanity will never change. The vanilla computerized universe in Humanity without the effect of a player is our exact universe. Humanity players rarely play not vanilla Humanity. Single-player Humanity is a free-to-play game. It is free to download and install. Humanity developers make money through multiplayer Humanity. There are many other video games in the universe with Humanity that have a similar level of popularity and game development. The main character in this movie is Git Gud. Git Gud is a green alien in the civilization that has the Humanity video game. Git Gud is a Humanity speedrunner. Git Gud is similar to a stereotypical human speedrunner. Git doesn’t have a romantic partner or any children. Git is a male virgin. Speedrunning Humanity is similar to speedrunning games on Earth. The time of a Humanity speedrun is almost always based on the time the player spends doing that speedrun and not how much in-game time passes. The time of a Humanity speedrun doesn’t include time in Humanity’s pause menu. Git streams his speedruns on his universe’s main streaming platform which is called Mitch. A relatively very popular speedrun category for Humanity is a category called 00:00 1/1/1980 CE Human #77777777777 World Domination Any%. That “00:00” is in military time. I am only using military time in this post. In this category, the playthrough must start at the very beginning of the day on January 1, 1980 CE in UTC time, and the player must play as Human #77777777777. The player must never do a negative time skip to before 00:00 1/1/1980 in this playthrough. Human #77777777777 is an eighteen-year-old male as of 1/1/1980. At the beginning of the day on 1/1/1980 in UTC time, he has zero personal possessions, and all members of his family are dead, and nobody still alive has a (positive or negative) personal connection with him, and he is currently being held by people who plan to kill him, and he currently has no long term physical or mental impairments which include not having any diseases, and there are currently no official records of his existence. Without a player in Humanity, Human #77777777777 is killed by those people who planned to kill him in January 1980. In this category, the speedrun ends after the player sees that Humanity’s AI would consider Human #77777777777 to have complete dictatorial control over all human civilization on Earth during any period of time in spectator mode. Throughout this playthrough, Earth’s human population must not go below 3.7 billion people or decrease by equal to or greater than 10% within a year. This is to prevent strategies that involve excessive mass population death. This category is popular for various reasons. The main reasons are that the player starts out with like a clean slate, this category is a very hard (yet not overly tedious) especially in the beginning, this category is very entertaining to watch, and this category starts off exactly at the beginning of a decade. In 100% speedruns in Humanity, the player’s human must permanently die before the end of that speedrun. Git Gud has been working towards getting the fastest time in that Human #77777777777 category for a relatively long time. Git Gud has the fastest time in other categories in Humanity. Git Gud eventually does the fastest run in this category. This entire movie is about that speedrun. Git would frequently reference notes for doing this speedrun during this speedrun since this speedrun has too many things that need to be known. This speedrun basically wouldn’t count this time towards the run since he would be in the pause menu. This speedrun would have at least one very difficult (even for Git) combat situation that Git has to overcome that is like a boss fight. This fight would be serious in tone without much of any humor to emphasize the grandeur of Git succeeding in it. Git would establish some kind of relationship with Human #77777777777 for times he skips positive amounts of time. This is so that human would cause the maximum benefit or at least the least detriment during that time skip. During this speedrun, there is a commentator(s) from Git’s universe that is commentating the video of Git’s Mitch stream of that speedrun. This commentary is after that speedrun happens, so this commentator(s) can pause the video. This commentator(s) will indirectly explain why Git does certain things during Git’s speedrun to the audience of this movie. After this speedrun, Git would make the save file of the playthrough with this speedrun publicly available. This commentator(s) would use that save file in their commentary to help explain things. This commentator(s) would maybe be another Humanity speedrunner that is streaming on Mitch that’s reacting to this video. Two days after this fastest speedrun, the previous record holder of that category completes an even faster speedrun than Git’s speedrun. Git would have a strong negative reaction after learning about this. The movie might roll the credits after that. If this movie actually hypothetically became a movie, that movie would obviously exist in the Humanity spectator playthrough. This movie would end with Git learning about this movie. This might be a post-credits scene. Git would have a strong reaction with extreme shock from learning about this movie which would involve screaming/yelling. Git would probably think that that movie was added to Humanity by the company that owns and operates Humanity who was secretly and illegally recording him and made a secret update to Humanity. That hypothesis is true. Any future movies/shows in our universe about Humanity might not be in the version of Humanity at the time that movie is released because that company updates Humanity for that Humanity spectator playthrough to include that new movie/show. But, the most current version of the Humanity spectator playthrough from the most current (in our time) movie/show about Humanity in our universe will still always be our exact reality that we live in. That scene would happen by Git using a program that is a database of all the movies and shows created by humans in Humanity in order to watch a movie/show from Humanity without having to use a Bluetooth connection. That program is owned and operated by the same company that owns and operates Humanity. That program would display this movie before this movie exists in our universe in order for the company that owns and operates Humanity to get this reaction footage before making that update. That scene would have a scene with Git watching himself watching himself watching himself watching himself…. That watching himself scene would have an infinite screen loop similar to this one but probably without any lag: youtu.be/9np8pJ8sL_Y. (Just FYI, some people might find that example video offensive and it’s loud.) Git would confirm that that infinite screen loop is an actual infinite screen loop by doing random actions in that scene. Git would directly talk to the humans watching this scene with anger in this scene. Git might use something like a bat to try to hit a microscopic camera in this scene that he thinks is there and is actually there. The movie might end after Git breaks one of these microscopic cameras.
All aliens in this movie would speak English. This is for ease of watching and for humor. This movie would have various tones in different parts of the movie. Some parts would have a comical tone, and other parts would have a pretty serious mood. The tone would probably never get too significantly serious. This is a movie about someone playing a video game inside a video game inside a video game after all. Git would probably pretend to be a god or higher being that is like omniscient and very intelligent in this speedrun. I think claiming this would allow for a faster run as it might convince more people that Human #77777777777 should be a dictator. Git would do crazy things in this speedrun in order to get a faster time. This would include succeeding in things that normally wouldn’t be possible. It’s possible because Git has a lot of experience and knowledge in Humanity, the resources in spectator mode, and negative time skipping. Git has learned what various actions will cause through in-game testing and research and has practiced this speedrun many times. This would include Git doing amazing combat performances. This would include saying things to humans that have amazing results. This would include giving out basically perfect military orders based on the future. This might include creating laws that have amazing results. This would probably include Git telling people what they’re thinking of and pretending that that is proof that he is a god. He would probably do this with major world leaders like Ronald Reagan. Some famous people in history would be in this speedrun. Among many other people, this might include Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, Fidel Castro, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, the Pope, and/or Shigeru Miyamoto. Git Gud knows a lot about the lore in Humanity. Git knows about most/all of the major events that happen in Humanity in the spectator playthrough. There would be comical scenes in this movie. Git would have various scenes where he reads and interacts with his Mitch chat when in the pause menu during this speedrun. There might be a scene where he thanks someone for a small donation after conquering a continent on Earth. Besides the beginning and end of this movie, most of the scenes in this movie would be in our universe rather than in Git’s universe. This speedrun is obviously done in single-player Humanity. Some features in single-player Humanity are removed or altered in multiplayer Humanity for multiplayer play. Some features in multiplayer Humanity aren’t in single-player Humanity that relates to multiplayer play. This speedrun might feel like a mild horror game in the beginning given the situation for Human #77777777777 on 1/1/1980. This should engage the audience for the start of this speedrun. There is a free mod for Humanity that allows the player to alter our universe in their playthrough in very many different ways. This is basically a god mode mod that grants the player tons of reality altering power. That mod will probably be mentioned in this movie. Some people in Git’s civilization (including Git) have used that mod to live out their fantasies including sexual ones. That mod can be used to make humans basically aesthetically identical to green aliens in Git’s civilization. Git might say that he thinks that anyone who pays for a sex robot is stupid because Humanity and this mod are free. A sequel to this movie might start with a lawsuit between Git and the company that owns and operates Humanity, but this lawsuit obviously doesn’t result in that company not recording Git.
This idea is inspired from this game in Rick and Morty: youtu.be/szzVlQ653as. And, it is inspired from the simulation hypothesis: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simulation_hypothesis. And, it is inspired from my very small/short speedrunning experience. There are many other possible movies/shows that could focus on Humanity speedruns or playthroughs. Git Gud could perhaps be the main character in all of them. Playthroughs don’t need to play out very historically realistic. I don’t think the playthrough in this movie would be very historically realistic. For example, there could be a speedrun for causing World War Three, convincing the Pope that you’re Jesus, having a family, or putting an astronaut on the moon before 1800. A single movie could be about various different playthroughs/speedruns. The title for such a movie could be something like Git Gud… Marathon 100%. (I think a movie about a Humanity speedrun marathon should be 100% runs because I think the player continuously trying to die as quickly as possible in each run would be entertaining.) Although I think a movie would generally be more entertaining if it was about a single speedrun rather than multiple speedruns, and I think a World Domination speedrun would be complicated enough to fill an entire movie.
