Be relentlessly honest in the face of dishonesty.

I've heard/read some people say you should lie on your Resume because employers lie to you or have unreasonable requirements.

Even if some employers are dishonest or have unreasonable requirements, it's never an excuse to be dishonest yourself.

You shouldn't be dishonest because it's immoral. But, beyond that, it also hurts your reputation, and a damaged reputation is thankfully damn hard to fix.

Unfortunately, some big corporations can get away with being dishonest to their employees. You're not a big corporation; being dishonest might knock you into a different life.

If your employer is dishonest to you, then leave or at least be weary of them if leaving isn't viable. Don't play tit for tat and be dishonest back.
