People in the year 1000 CE would be able to understand what life was like in the year 1700 CE.
People in 1700 would hardly be able to understand what life was like in 1900.
People in 1900 would not be able to understand what life was like in 2000.
People in 2000 would not be able to understand what life is like in 2025.
