Secondary About Page

If you haven't yet fully read the Main About Page, you should do that before reading this page. Both of those about pages serve as the about pages for SamSauer.org and for me (Samuel Sauer).

Ideation For “Complex Problems”

Compared to the average person, I can much more easily come up with great ideas, but the nitty gritty of executing them by myself is a bit harder for me. I somewhat underperform at solving "Simple Problems" (which is why that execution is a bit harder for me). I am still competent at solving "Simple Problems", but I don't naturally excel at it. How much I might excel at solving a problem is greater if it is more ambiguous and complex and there is time for me to break it down.

I have concluded that I am an ideation specialist for "Complex Problems" based on my creations, feedback from others, and other evidence. As I discussed in the Main About Page, I use specific processes to lead my thoughts in the right direction. Some of the processes started out similar to what you might read in a book1 or article2. Those processes were then further developed for my specific mind to the point where it became second nature for me.

I think ideation for "Complex Problems" is my most useful skill to be most helpful for society. In order to be most helpful with that skill, I would need to utilize more of my time on tasks where that skill is especially important (and utilize less of my time on other tasks). I hope to find increasingly more impactful opportunities to do that as time goes on.

There is a vast variety of what that might look like. For example, if this website got a larger audience, helpful content I publish would be more impactful because more people would read it, and I could justify spending more time making new content. Or, if I got a position as an executive, I would presumably have more "Complex Problems" available to me. Or, if life gave me lemonade, I could spend less time making it myself with lemons.

My Other Accounts

  • SamSauer1 is my Gravatar/WordPress.com username.
  • Samuel.Sauer.1@gmail.com is my Gmail email address and my Google account.
  • My Reddit account is u/BronzePencil3.
    • But, it got incorrectly auto-removed4, so you likely can’t access its content and I haven’t been able to reach a human at Reddit.
  • I use my @SamSauer11 X.com account for unimportant stuff5.
    • If you’re going to follow me on X.com, I’d suggest only following my @SamSauer5 X.com account instead of my @SamSauer11 X.com account, or following both.

Other

  • At least in American English, “Sauer” is pronounced the same as the word “sour”.
  • I alone built this website in WordPress.com. Although I am much less knowledgeable than the WordPress experts in the world, I have very significant ability and knowledge for using WordPress. I have a great foundation of knowledge for using WordPress.com/WordPress.
    • WordPress and WordPress.com are different things.

SS5.org

What is SS5.org?

SamSauer.org is basically just the main website of me (Samuel Sauer), and a website that I have full control over. I have much less limitations on this website than I do on social media (or other online publishing platforms), and this website is also more accessible to the general public. This website is mainly used for its Main About Page and as a platform for me to publish my posts (and have those posts be as publicly accessible as possible), but I use this website for other purposes of mine as well (such as the Feedback page). SamSauer.org is an extension of myself.

Posts

This website's most relevant parts (in order of importance) are the Main About Page, the Most Relevant Short Posts page, this page, and the Relevant Categories section in the Other Posts page. I'll also refer to the Most Relevant Short Posts page as just the Short Posts page. The posts in that section won't be in the Short Posts page and visa versa.

The Newest To Oldest section in the Other Posts page should have every post from that Relevant Categories section (and should only have those posts). I would not recommend exploring any posts (that are not in the Short Posts page or that Relevant Categories section). Posts in the Short Posts page are organized by their Posted Time from newest to oldest. Any given post of SamSauer.org will always be assigned one (and only one) Category.

The Posted Date of a post on SamSauer.org might be when I posted that content on a different platform (and not the date that post was actually posted on SamSauer.org). For example, the posted date of this post is 2021-11-29 which is the date I initially posted that content on Reddit here and on other subreddits.

WordPress.com

A WordPress.com account would be used for your potential subscription to this website and for commenting. If you weren't logged in while subscribing/commenting, a WordPress.com account with your specified email address is automatically created. You can login through the Account dropdown in the Navigation Menu.

Technical Difficulties

WordPress.com will sometimes prevent a WordPress.com account from being created if the user is using a VPN. So, (if you don't already have a WordPress.com account) WordPress.com might block you from subscribing or commenting if you are using a VPN, but a VPN shouldn't be a problem after creating your WordPress.com account.

If you have any trouble subscribing, please tell me so I can manually subscribe your email address. If you have any technical difficulties, please contact me6.

When navigating to a new SS5.org webpage, WordPress.com will sometimes send an outdated version of that webpage to the visitor. This is usually corrected by just refreshing the page one or more times.

There are different hosting tiers in WordPress.com. Some parts of this website (such as the navigation bar) are unideal because (at the time of making those parts) I was using a lower tier WordPress.com subscription. I've since upgraded to a higher subscription tier, but haven't yet been able to justify spending the time to make those parts more ideal. Just FYI, if you genuinely want those improvements to be made, you can refer to SS5.org's Donation Page.

Deep Dive

If you're still with me, then bravo! I created this page for those who care more than the rest, and you clearly do!

I would recommend being subscribed to every possible category, but I would most recommend being subscribed to the "Most Relevant Short Posts" category and the "When [Page] Has A Paramount Change" categories. You can use the button below to subscribe or manage your subscription.
  • SSFive.org, SS-5.org, and SS-Five.org redirect to SS5.org. Sam-Sauer.org, SamSour.org, and Sam-Sour.org redirect to SamSauer.org. So, you could verbally refer someone to this website only by saying “S S 5 dot org” or “Sam Sauer dot org” and be fairly safe in assuming that they would be brought to this website.
  • My initials are SS. An “S” looks similar to a “5”, and one could misread an “SS” for a “55”. However, if the S’es are next to a 5, then I think that mistake is less likely because the difference between an “S” and a “5” become more apparent. I think that’s one advantage of SS5.org over another “SS[Single Digit Number].org” domain name.
  • Clicking the SS5.org logo (that is in a header or footer of a webpage in this website) will open the Homepage (SS5.org/Home) in a new tab.
  • This website didn’t exist before October 2024. The date this website was created is subjective, but I initially registered the domain name “SamSauer.org” on October 19, 2024 which was one of the earliest things I did. (I acquired the domain name “SS5.org” on a later date.)
  • I still might publish some of my content on specific social media platforms and not on this website in the future, but all content of mine that is most relevant should be in this website.
    • The most relevant content of mine that is not in this website should be available in my LinkedIn account. You might need to be signed in to see some of that content.
  • My purposes and potential plans for this website have become more grand over time, but I initially made this website because social media platforms failed me, and I want my past/present/future content to be less dependent on and less limited by specific social media platforms.
    • I was lead down the path to make this website because social media platforms (including Twitter/X.com, Reddit, and others) (that I was relying on to host my content to the general public) were making my content less accessible to users who were not logged in, and I wanted that content to be accessible to any user (including anonymous users).
